Properties
Monoammonium Phosphate, also known as Monoammonium Phosphate, is a white crystal, soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and insoluble in acetone. Stable in air. 1G dissolved in 2.5ml water. The aqueous solution is acidic. Solubility in water at room temperature ( 20℃) is 37.4g. Relative density 1.80. Melting point 190℃. Refractive index 1.525. chemical formula NH4H2PO4 decomposes into ammonium metaphosphate (NH4PO3) when heated.

Applications:
Monoammonium Phosphate fertilizer can promote tomato flower bud differentiation, early flowering and fruit bearing, promote seedling root growth and improve fruit quality. When phosphorus was deficient, the buds and roots grew slowly, the plants were short, the leaf color was dark green, matte, and the back was purple.
The absorption of phosphorus by tomato was higher in the early stage of plant growth. When the first ear fruit grew to the size of walnut, the amount of phosphorus absorbed by tomato accounted for about 90% of the whole growth period. Therefore, tomato seedlings can not lack phosphorus, so as not to affect flower bud differentiation. The ability of tomato to absorb phosphate fertilizer is weak, especially at low temperature. Phosphate fertilizer is generally used as base fertilizer, or 0.5% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution can be used as foliar spraying for topdressing outside the root. Potassium promotes the synthesis and transportation of amino acids, proteins and carbohydrates in plants, and plays a good role in delaying plant senescence, prolonging fruiting period and increasing late yield.
