Monoammonium Phosphate is a white crystal with the chemical formula of NH₄H₂PO₄. It will decompose into Ammonium Metaphosphate (NH₄PO₃) when heated. It can be made by the reaction of Ammonia and Phosphoric Acid.It is mainly used to prepare compound fertilizer and can also be directly applied to farmland
 

 
Applications:

Used as fertilizer and fire retardant for wood, paper and fabric (e.g. as an extinguishing agent for match stalks and candle wicks), also used in the manufacture of medicines, etc. It is also used as an additive for ruminant feed. Stable in air. Decompose and lose ammonia and water when the temperature is above the melting point, forming ammonium metaphosphate and phosphoric acid and mixture. A small portion decomposes at 100°C.
