Properties

Ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, also known as monoammonium phosphate, is a white crystal, soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and insoluble in acetone. Stable in air. 1G dissolves in 2.5ml water. The aqueous solution is acidic. Relative density 1.80. Melting point 190°C. The chemical formula is NH4H2PO4. It decomposes into ammonium metaphosphate (NH4PO3) when heated.

Monoammonium Phosphate can be used as flame retardant for wood, paper and fabric, dispersant for fiber processing and dye industry, compounding agent for fire retardant coatings, dry powder fire extinguishing agent, etc.

It is also used as bulking agent, dough regulator, yeast nutrient, brewing and fermentation assistant and nutritional enhancer in food industry.

Process:

In the process of producing phosphate series products, the Hot Production Process is mainly adopted (taking liquid Yellow Phosphorus as the raw material, Phosphorus Pentoxide is generated through combustion, and after cooling, it becomes phosphoric acid 85%). The raw material Phosphoric Acid is self-produced, so the product quality is stable and excellent. The Hot Process phosphate products are high purity, low impurities, low heavy metals and completely water-soluble.
During the production, water steam is used instead of natural gas and electricity to reduce the production cost and provide customers with competitive prices.

Monoammonium Phosphate storage conditions/storage methods:
