Properties

Diammonium phosphate (21-53-0) is a colorless transparent monoclinic crystal, molecular formula (NH4) 2HPO4, molecular weight 132.06.

Applications:

Diammonium phosphate (21-53-0) can be applied to any soil and most crops, especially to crops that like ammonium and need phosphorus. It can be used as base fertilizer or topdressing, and should be applied deeply.

 It is also used as additive flame retardant. If a small amount of DAP is added to the natural rubber latex, the magnesium ion in the latex can be effectively eliminated, and the tensile strength of the natural rubber latex after vulcanization will not be reduced.
